Terms of Use
1. About DEasy
DEasy is a community platform with guides and tools for practical life in Germany. It is operated by Sachin Bhati (see the Impressum). It is free to use unless a feature clearly says otherwise.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16. Give accurate details, keep your password private, and do not share or sell your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time by emailing us.
3. Information, not advice
Guides, AI answers, document explanations, listings and member posts are general information. They are not legal, immigration, medical, tax or financial advice, and no advisory relationship is created. Rules and deadlines change and differ by office, so check with the official authority and ask a qualified professional where it matters.
Ask DEasy and the document check use artificial intelligence. Answers can be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on them for decisions with serious consequences without checking the original document and the responsible office.
4. Your content
You are responsible for what you post and you must have the right to share it. Do not post other people's documents, photos or contact details without their permission. By posting you give DEasy a non-exclusive licence to store and show your content in the service. You keep your rights and can delete your content. Our Community Rules apply.
5. Listings and other members
DEasy is not a party to deals between members and does not check listings, jobs or people. We do not guarantee them. Never pay a deposit before a viewing and a written contract.
6. Moderation
We may remove content or limit accounts that break these terms, the Community Rules or the law. We tell you the main reason and you can ask for a review. See Safety & reporting.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep DEasy available but cannot promise it will always be error-free or online. We may change or end features. We may update these terms and will show the new date at the top.
8. Liability
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law requires it. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential duty, and then only for foreseeable damage typical for this kind of service. Otherwise liability is excluded. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Law and contact
German law applies, without removing mandatory consumer protection from the country where you live. Questions: hello@thedeasy.de.
